Percy, Annabeth, and Thalia(daughter of Zeus) go to a school called Westover Hall from where Grover was calling them. He had found two half-bloods there, Nico and Bianca Di Angelo. All four of them try to take Nico and Bianca to Camp-Half Blood, however, they encounter a monster(a manticore) disguised as a teacher. The goddess Artemis and her Hunters come to help them and Bianca joins the Hunters. However, Annabeth is kidnapped by the manticore in the process. The half-bloods and Hunters return to Camp Half-Blood. They figure out that The Titan King, Kronos, who is the hated father of the gods and was defeated long ago by the gods is regaining power. He is using Luke, a former camper and son of Hermes to recruit half-bloods for his service. The goddess Artemis, is also captured. Zoe and Phoebe(two Hunters of Artemis), Bianca, Thalia, and Grover secretly followed by Percy, must find Artemis. Percy is soon discovered when he saves them from a Neamen Lion. After a long journey, Artemis and Annabeth are soon found. Atlas, the Titan general, forced Artemis to hold the weight of the world. After a long battle, the weight of the world is returned to Atlas. Artemis and Annabeth are also rescued. What I like about this book is that a lot of new and important characters were introduced such as Nico and Bianca. I also like how there was more information given about the relationship between the gods and Titans. This book also had a lot of plot twists and character depth added. What I disliked about this book is that I feel as though more information could have been added about the Titan’s curse.
