I really didn't want to watch this movie but my preteen convinced me. It was good. I really liked how the director had a blend of horror and life as a kid growing up in a small town.

it was good movie to share the horror with friends but it is very scary to younger children. so this movie mite be good for them to see but it is up to you mom and dads. This movie is only chapter 1 now i can not tell you about chapter 2 it has no same it is differnt from chapter 1. but it is a good story to see how kids see things and we dont.

Fun, somewhat frightening adaptation of the Stephen King novel at times seems more than worthwhile to attempt another go at filming it, then it reverts to scenes where I ask myself, "Why did they bother? Oh, yeah! Everthing gets remade now! It's called a lack of creativity and more $! I get it!" With that said, this is likely worth a look, more so if you're a fan. It does have its moments and, overall, the cast of kids is not only stronger, but they have a whole film to work in, unlike the 1990 TV miniseries.

This was an impressive variation of Stephen King's novel. The story matched the book and was just as scary as the made-for-TV version from the 1980s. Pennywise is one of the most diabolical characters from Stephen King-a 'must-see.'

One of the best Stephen King adaptations ever made! Looking forward to "It: Chapter Two" when it opens later this year!

Really enjoyed it. Though it leaves out some important parts of the original miniseries and book, it was still very enjoyable. Can't wait for Chapter Two.

Richie Tozier: Oh, fuck! Eddie!

Pennywise: [to Bill] This isn't real enough for you, Billy? *I'm not real enough for you?*

Richie Tozier: Holy shit!

Pennywise: It was real enough for Georgie!

If we split up like last time, that clown will kill us, one by one, but if we stick together, all of us... we'll win. I promise.
===
There is a church full of Jews. And Stan has to take the super Jew-y test.
-But how does it work?
They slice the tip of his dick off.
-But then you'll have nothing left!
It is true.
- Wait, you guys! Hey, Stan, what happens at the mitzvah anyways?
Ed says you slice the tip of the d-d-d-dick off.
-Yes, Rabbi's gonna pull down your pants. And he will tell the crowd: "Where's the beef?".
At he bar mitzvah, I read from the Torah... and then I make a speech, and suddenly I become a man.
===
Ok so let me get this straight. IT comes out from wherever to eat kids for like a year and then what? IT just goes into hibernation?
-Maybe it's like... What do you call it? Cicadas. You know, the bugs that come out once every 17 years.
